Canon RF 28-70mm f/2L USM Lens Review by Tony Northrup

The Canon RF 28-70mm f/2L USM Lens ( B&H Photo/Amazon/Adorama/Focus Camera) is a full stop faster than the standard 24-70 f/2.8 that many pros use, and that’s a HUGE deal. That reduces noise by a full stop in low-light situations. It blurs the background more than has ever been possible. Tony Northrup has compared it to the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L II and the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lenses. You can watch the full video above.

EOS M5 Mark II & M6 Mark II Coming in 2019

As rumored before, there are two Canon EOS M APS-C mirrorless cameras in testing, and will be announced in 2019. The code names are EC 811 and EC 812. According to latest rumors, these two EOS M mirrorless cameras could be EOS M5 Mark II and EOS M6 Mark II, below are details of EC 811 and EC 812:

Canon EOS R Pro Development Announcement in January 2019

Here is an updated rumors for the second Canon full frame mirrorless camera. The rumored name is “Canon EOS R Pro”. It will receive a development announcement in January 2019. While official launch will be in a later date, maybe ahead of CP+ Show in February.

Canon USA just uploaded a new movie called “EOS R Documentary: Walking The Rift”. Cinematographer Hiro Matsuzaki as he documents his experience using Canon’s new EOS R system while venturing out on foot in Lake Natron, to capture the rift valley’s environmental beauty. The whole movie above are shot by Canon EOS R and RF lenses.

EF 300mm f/2.8L IS III & EF 500mm f/4L IS III USM Lenses Coming in Mid/Late 2019

Canon recently announced two new super telephoto prime lenses EF 400mm f/2.8L IS III USM Lens(B&H Photo Video/Amazon/Adorama) and EF 600mm f/4L IS III USM Lens(B&H Photo Video/Amazon/Adorama). Both lenses shaved a lot of weight off of when compared to the predecessors, with weight savings at more than 25% and 20% respectively. Now according to CR, the EF 300mm f/2.8L IS III USM lens and EF 500mm f/4L IS III USM lens will coming in mid or late 2019.
