Sigma has already released their E-mount and L-mount mirrorless lenses since mid-2019. According to latest rumors, Sigma will also release there RF -mount mirrorless lenses in early 2020, probably around CP+ 2020. If true, it would be great for the EOS R system.

According to latest rumors, Canon will announce a new high megapixel full frame mirrorless camera to replace current EOS 5DS/5DS R in early 2020, expected announcement in early February, 2020. The name of this camera could be Canon EOS RS.
dpreview has a chance to interview with senior executives at Canon – Mr. Toshio Matsumoto, talking about recently announced Canon EOS-1D X Mark III flagship full frame DSLR camera. From the interview, we can see that EOS-1D X Mark III is aimed for sports and action photography, and it looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer before we see an EOS R model aimed at sports and action shooters.

Canon has just released new firmware for EF 400mm f/2.8L IS III USM Lens and EF 600mm f/4L IS III USM Lens. You can download firmware here: EF 400mm f/2.8L IS III Firmware | EF 600mm f/4L IS III Firmware.
Firmware Version 1.1.2 incorporates the following enhancements:
*Enables a full-time manual focus function during Servo AF when used with the EOS-1D X Mark II. The lens must be sent to the Factory Service Center in order for this function to be enabled.
If the lens’ firmware is already Version 1.1.2, it is not necessary to update the firmware.
The lens firmware version can be checked from the camera’s menu.
The big question of upcoming Canon EOS-1D X Mark III is the resolution of the image sensor. According to latest rumors on CR, Canon EOS-1D X Mark III is rumored to have a 24MP full frame sensor, and the release date is expected at the end of January, 2020.
