RF 16mm f/2.8 & RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 IS USM Lenses to be Announced Next !

According to Nokishita, the next RF lenses from Canon will RF 16mm f/2.8 STM and RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 IS USM lenses. Official announcement is expected in next few days or weeks, could be coming along with Canon EOS R3 to be announced on September 14th.

Atomos and Canon have teamed up to offer an exciting enhancement to your Canon EOS R5 (B&H/Adorama/Amazon) camera and Atomos Ninja V+ monitor/recorder setup, with the latest firmware updates. By combining the Atomos AtomOS 10.68 update with the latest Canon EOS R5 firmware update, you will now be able to record external 8K ProRes RAW video from the R5 using the Ninja V+ via HDMI.

Raw recording on the R5 is usually limited to either 29 minutes, 59 second or by the thermal cut-off of the camera. Initiating recording from the Ninja V+ avoids the 29:59 limit and the reduced processor load inside the camera significantly lowers the risk of overheating.
