An APS-C Canon EOS R body now mentioned again. According to CR, this kind of APS-C Canon EOS R body currently is in active development, but will not coming until 2021.
Like recently released Nikon Z50, first APS-C Canon EOS R body will be a performance model, not an entry-level model.
Currently, more lenses in the RF lineup are a priority over an APS-C body, but that there definitely would not be “RF-S” lenses developed for a smaller sensor EOS R camera body.
