According to latest rumors from CR, in the second half of 2019, Canon will announce a new mid-range APS-C DSLR camera and a new APS-C mirrorless camera.
Canon has officially announced the new EOS Rebel SL3 (Adorama/B&H Photo Video/Amazon) entry-level DSLR camera today. EOS Rebel SL3 is the smallest and lightest DSLR ever. It uses the same 24MP APS-C CMOS sensor as its SL2 predecessor but adds a DIGIC 8 processor, eye-detection when using Dual Pixel AF, improved battery life and 4K video capture with a disappointingly huge crop. The Canon EOS Rebel SL3 will be available at the end of this month in either black or white color options for $549 body-only or $649 with 18-55mm f/4-5.6 IS STM lens included.
