In a recently Canon statement in their annual Corporate Strategy Conference (page 8), Canon CEO said that they will go on the offensive and work to expand our sales in the mirrorless camera market, and to reach our goal of 50% market share of the entire interchangeable-lens camera market.
Since Sony a7 III is announced, there are more and more rumors on upcoming Canon Full Frame mirrorless cameras. According to recently interview by dpreview, Kenji Tanaka, Sony Senior General Manager of the Digital Imaging Business Group said both Canon and Nikon will announce their first full frame mirrorless cameras within a year, before CP+ Show 2019 in Japan.
NAB Show 2018 is coming soon, Canon will announce a new Cinema EOS camera before NAB 2018. The most likely to be announced is Canon Cinema EOS C100 Mark III, and according to source, it will feature with 4K Video shooting.
