As Sony is rumored to announce a new flagship/high-end mirrorless body in 2021, it seems that Canon will also release a new mirrorless version of EOS-1D X Mark III in 2021, the name of this flagship mirrorless body could be named Canon EOS-R1.
According to rumors, Canon EOS R1 will be announced in the second half of 2021, but we may also see EOS-R1 announced before Tokyo Olympics 2021 in Summer. And Canon EOS-R1 will not use current EOS-1D X Mark III sensor, it will have a new sensor. Stay tuned for more info.
