Canon EOS R5S Rumored to Have a 90MP Full Frame Sensor

After Canon released EOS R5 (B&H/Adorama/Amazon) and EOS R6 (B&H/Adorama/Amazon), latest rumors said Canon currently is testing EOS R5S – a high megapixel full frame mirrorless camera to replace current EOS 5DS and EOS 5DS R. Currently, a small group of photographers have the EOS R5S in their hands as it’s going through the first phase of testing as a finished product.

The source said Canon EOS R5S will have a high megapixel full frame sensor around 90MP. This will quite the bump in resolution over the EOS R5, and would put the cameras into two completely different segments. And the EVF for Canon EOS R5 will be larger and higher resolution than the EOS R5.

Currently, there is no info about the release date of EOS R5S, because Canon have to remedy the production quantity issues for both the EOS R5 and EOS R6 first.
