Canon Full Frame Mirrorless Camera will Use a New Dedicated CMOS Sensor

The Canon full frame mirrorless camera is expected to be announced in the second half of 2018, sometime in August, before Photokina 2018 in September. According to recently rumors on CR, the first Canon full frame mirrorless camera will not use any sensor from EOS 5D Mark IV or EOS 6D Mark II, instead it will use a new dedicated full frame CMOS sensor.

Canon has no plan on more higher end APS-C mirrorless camera above EOS M5, so what coming next year will be a full frame Canon mirrorless camera.
