Canon USA just uploaded a new movie called “EOS R Documentary: Walking The Rift”. Cinematographer Hiro Matsuzaki as he documents his experience using Canon’s new EOS R system while venturing out on foot in Lake Natron, to capture the rift valley’s environmental beauty. The whole movie above are shot by Canon EOS R and RF lenses.
We already know that Second Canon full frame mirrorless camera is in testing, it will have a 26.2MP full frame sensor, the release date is within one year. Now according to latest rumors on CR, a new flagship Canon full frame mirrorless camera will be coming before CP+ Show 2019 in February, it will be above the current Canon EOS R (B&H Photo Video/Amazon/Adorama/Focus Camera). maybe this is the second Canon full frame mirrorless camera.
In a recently interview with Canon UK’s product intelligence consultant David Parry by DCW, he explained that why Canon EOS R (B&H Photo Video/Amazon/Adorama/Focus Camera) doesn’t have IBIS like other mirrorless cameras.
According David Parry, Canon think that in-lens IS is the optimum system for image stabilisation, because different lenses has different types of IS. And Canon is also looking at IBIS.
