Canon recently has announced the new EF 85mm f/1.4L IS USM lens (Amazon/B&H Photo/Adorama), according to CR, Canon will announce a new EF 50mm f/1.4L IS USM lens in the first half of 2018.
According to CR, currently there are apparently two prototypes currently being tested by select photographers. One is EF 50mm f/1.4L IS USM lens, the other 50mm lens is not known yet.
