Canon Japan has just issued a press release about the short supply of Canon cameras and lenses. According to Canon Japan, new EOS R3 ( B&H/Adorama/Amazon/Focus Camera/Canon Store) and RF 14-35mm f/4L IS USM lens (B&H/Adorama/Amazon) orders may be delayed for more than 6 months. And new EOS R5 C (B&H/Adorama/Canon Store), RF 16mm f/2.8 STM, RF 400mm f/2.8L, RF 800mm f/5.6L (B&H/Adorama/Canon Store), RF 1200mm f/8L (B&H/Adorama/Canon Store) lenses orders also may take longer than usual to deliver.

Today, Canon Japan issued a press release “Apology and guidance regarding the supply status of products”, says due to the impact of global parts supply, it could take more than six months before it is able to deliver on new EOS R3 (B&H/Adorama/Amazon/Focus Camera/Canon Direct Store) and RF 14-35mm f/4L IS USM lens (B&H/Adorama/Amazon) orders.
