The upcoming Canon EOS R5C now rumored to be released in Q1 of 2022. The official announcement could be as early as in January 2022. The US price for Canon EOS R5C will cost “significantly less” than the Canon Cinema EOS C70 ($5,499).
According to CR, Canon EOS R5C will be announced in 2022. Release date is expected in Q1 2022.

Recently, Canon has announced the new “Accessory Shoe” for the Canon EOS R3 and Canon XF605 4K professional camcorder. And TEAC announced their first third-party accessory for this new accessory shoe which will add XLR microphone capabilities to the EOS R3 and XF605.
According to latest rumors, the upcoming Canon EOS R5C will be officially announced in the Q1 of 2022, originally EOS R5C announcement is around NAB in October this year, but it looks like it has been pushed back.
Canon has just registered a new camera code “DS126856” in Russia. This new camera could be an RF mount mirrorless camera. The official announcement could be in next few weeks. Stay tuned for more info.
