Canon EOS R5S is an upcoming high megapixel full frame mirrorless camera to replace current EOS 5DS/5DS R, it will be the high-megapixel version of EOS R5, to be announced in late 2020.

Along with upcoming Canon EOS R5C to be announced in this year, Canon is going to announce the long awaited EOS R5S in 2022. The Canon EOS R5S will feature with a 100MP full frame image sensor.
Several days ago, Nikon has officially announced the development of Z9 flagship full frame mirrorless camera to compete with Sony a1, and will be released in the second half of 2021. So what about Canon’s flagship full frame mirrorless camera EOS-R1 ? According to latest rumors on CR, Canon EOS-R1 will not be released until early 2022, while we may get a development announcement in the second half of 2021.

After Canon released EOS R5 (B&H/Adorama/Amazon) and EOS R6 (B&H/Adorama/Amazon), latest rumors said Canon currently is testing EOS R5S – a high megapixel full frame mirrorless camera to replace current EOS 5DS and EOS 5DS R.
