According to latest rumors from CR, the upcoming Canon EOS R6 full frame mirrorless camera will be delayed due to coronavirus. The previous scheduled announcement date is in May, now it is delayed until July, and the release date delayed until August/September, Q3 of 2020.

According to latest rumors on CR, the upcoming Canon EOS R5 and EOS R6 will be announced as previously scheduled, both cameras will be announced in May of 2020. After the development announcement of Canon EOS R5, next camera from Canon will be the Canon EOS R6. This camera is expected to be announced in May 2020, and release date in June 2020, before the EOS R5 release date in July. Due to Coronavirus, the production of upcoming Canon EOS R5 and Canon EOS R6 has been delayed. According to CR, less than 1/4 of Canon’s manufacturing capacity is impacted due to supply chain issues from the Coronavirus.
