Currently, Amazon still shows old prices on these lenses, while B&H Photo Video and Adorama has already increased prices. So it is time to order these lenses at Amazon if you are planning to buy.
The original release date for Canon RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM lens is on December 10th, 2020. Now according to Canon USA, the release date now delayed until January 28th, 2021.
Canon today has officially announced the new RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM lens (B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon) and RF 50mm f/1.8 STM lens (B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon). The US price for RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM lens is $1,599, release date in early December, 2020. The US price for RF 50mm f/1.8 STM lens is $199, release date in mid December, 2020.

According to CR, a new RF mount lens roadmap for Canon full frame mirrorless cameras seems leaked online. Along with soon to be announced RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM lens and RF 50mm f/1.8 STM lens, there will be a total 14 new RF lenses coming in 2021, including “ground-breaking” TS-R autofocus tilt-shift lenses for the RF mount.
